t4ilsDev built the StreamCtrl app as an Ad Supported app, provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
If you choose to use my app, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.
Information Collection and Use
This app uses several third-party services to provide for the app. These third-party services may collect additional information to identify you. By using my app, you also agree to the following privacy policies (links included):
Google Play Services (used for app distribution and overall stats of the app's health, such as crashes, install and uninstall count, etc.)
Google AdMob (provides the ad experience)
Firebase Crashlytics (provides crash reports of this app from the user's device)
Log Data
In the occassion that the app crashes, crash reports will be sent to the Firebase Crashlytics service for review by the developer to improve the user's overall experience. This functionality requires an Internet connection. The following data is sent:
Crash log, detailing how the app crashed. This does not include sensitive information.
Unique ID to identify your device, set at the first time you launch the app
Saved Data
This app does write data to the device using Android's Shared Preferences feature. The following information is stored on the device:
Settings, set by the user
List of connections to OBS Studio hosts, set by the user. This includes the name, IP address, port, and an optional encrypted password in order to connect to the host (see section "Network Connection" for more info).
Unique ID to identify your device, set at the first time you launch the app. This ID gets sent to the Firebase Crashlytics service in the event that the app crashes (see section "Information Collection and Use for more info").
Network Connection
A network connection is required for the app's main function of connecting to an OBS Studio host. This app does not upload or send any sensitive data, such as your password to connect to an OBS Studio host, outside of the local area network. In order to connect and authenticate to the OBS Studio host, the following data is received from the user:
IP Address and port of the OBS Studio host
An optional password, if the OBS Studio host requires one. This value is encrypted when saved to the device (see section "Saved Data" for more info). This value is only sent to the OBS Studio host and does not leave the local area network, and is also encrypted when sent to the OBS Studio host.
This app also uses an Internet connection to upload crash reports and for providing ads (see section "Information Collection and Use" for more info).
